Lilia Factor, Esq. is an experienced attorney who has been practicing law in New York for over twelve years. Ms. Factor achieved an LL.M. (masters in law) degree from Pittsburgh University School of Law in 2002 and a law degree from Haifa University Law School in Israel in 1996. Living and working on Long Island for most of her career, Ms. Factor has been an associate at the law firms of Lamb & Barnosky, LLP and the Law Office of Frederick Eisenbud, as well as Counsel at Campolo, Middleton & McCormick, LLP. Over the years, she has handled a wide variety of cases, with a special concentration in environmental law.
Today, in her solo practice, Ms. Factor offers her clients personal attention and direct communication. She combines excellent lawyering skills with the ability to call on experts and business professionals to assist with specialized aspects of a case. Ms. Factor believes in negotiating the most practical and cost effective resolution of a dispute, rather than litigating on principle. However, when litigation is necessary, you will find in her a loyal and hardworking advocate.
Ms. Factor is a member in good standing of the New York State Bar Association, the Suffolk County Bar Association, the Suffolk and Nassau County Women’s Bar Associations and various community and business groups, including the HIA-LI (committee co-chair) and the Sierra Club (Energy Chair for Long Island group).
